Surrey Park Netball Club offers girls of all ages the opportunity to learn skills, develop their fitness and experience competitive netball in a safe and supportive environment. The club emphasises good sportsmanship, a fair go for all and opportunities to develop new friendships. Girls of all skill levels are welcome and will be easily accomodated in to suitable teams. The club also ecourages young coaches, supporting their development through offering Netball Victoria Coaching Courses. Players also have the opportunity to be involved in coaching clinics in addition to weekly competition at the Ashwood netball courts as part of the WDNA competition. Our coaching clinics have been fortunate enough to host some reputable netball names, most recently a visit from the Melbourne Vixens and VIS Head coach. A volunteer committee manages Surrey Park Netball Club that welcomes participation by the whole club community. Should you wish to involve your daughter in a fun and active sport such as netball for the first time, consider Surrey Park Netball Club's "Net, Set, Go" program for 7-9 year olds. This is a great introduction to the sport. Alternatively, we have teams from grades 5/6 right through to our eldest girls who are currently studying at university. For anyone who is interested in joining up or requiring further information, please contact Tracey Lethbridge via email or mobile. CONTACT |
